After a decade of New Labour, half the UK's population shares just 6% of Britain's wealth. The top 1% own a quarter of it. 11 million people - among them 3 million children - live in poverty . . . while the rich's privileges seal them off from the rest of society.

There are further questions to 'how do we win'.

What are we for, why do we want power, and why are we Labour?

Where do we want to direct the country, and where does this mean we need to direct ourselves? How about towards the democratic left?
